I know you've already seen the title of this podcast, and today we are talking about how to make Q1 And quite frankly, the rest of 2025, the most profitable quarter and year you have ever had.

[00:00:54] Yes, you are in the right place if that is what you want today, because we are going to make sure that your year, your quarter, especially Q1, and I'm going to tell you the reasons why I'm speaking directly into Q1, is not just profitable, it is Not just purposeful, but it's powerful and really aligned with that big vision that you have been dreaming about and probably sabotaging yourself on.

[00:01:21] Now, we're not just going to talk business numbers and surface level strategies. You know, that's not how I freaking roll. We are going to really be diving in today on how you can approach Q1 from a place of real deep alignment, real deep clarity and conviction. And really, how we actually set up your subconscious, because that is the name of the game around here, for you to have these goals actually come into fruition.

[00:01:54] We are going to set the goddamn stage for Q1, and I really want to show you, and I'm going to share my experience of this year, and As to why the first quarter in your business is the key to an incredible year. You are probably going to want a notebook. You will probably want to get settled in and make some notes.

[00:02:14] If you're walking or in the shower or driving, don't worry. You can go back and listen again, but we really are diving into. A lot of things today from both subconscious and strategy. And I am going to be talking about my Q1 Masterclass at the end of the podcast, because yes, I can talk about it in a podcast, but I want to give you the actual subconscious tools and techniques that pair with your strategy and clarity around this.

[00:03:16] Like why is it so important now? The first quarter isn't just about getting through the initial months of the year . It isn't just about surviving, not thriving after Christmas and all of the mince pies. It's about setting the tone for everything that follows. And I see so many CEOs who approach Q1 with almost a mindset of like, well, let's see how things go after, you know, it's just another quarter, like, here we go.

[00:03:50] But the truth is, and this is really what set me up so freaking incredibly this year. Q1 is the launchpad for everything you want to accomplish this year. And when you are actually intentional with how you show up in Q1, the momentum, the focus, the clarity, you are going to build and that's going to become the foundations that truly carry you through the entire year.

[00:04:21] I almost want you to see Q1 as the beginning of a relay race. Something that I was never very, I was quite good at running in primary school, secondary school, but no, I'd, I'd prefer to be doing dance or gymnastics myself. But I want you to see Q1 as the beginning of a relay race. Now, you wouldn't start the race casually, would you?

[00:04:42] Hoping maybe we'll pick up speed in the second or the third leg. Absolutely not. No, you come out strong and you're going to give yourself a really fucking powerful lead. Now, Q1 is that first. Almost burst. It's setting you up to sustain your energy, which is really, really important. I'm going to be speaking more into that today, but to sustain your energy, to sustain your drive and to sustain your success.

[00:05:09] Yes. We're not just going to have a huge Q1 and then I'm so excited to have you on the show. I mean, I'm so excited to have you on the show as well. You are effectively what I call creating the domino effect. And each intentional action in Q1 is going to set off a chain reaction of really aligned growth and really aligned opportunities for the months to come.

[00:05:43] And this is where it gets really freaking interesting because your subconscious My love is watching every single thing that you do. So the clarity and the confidence you bring to Q1 act as a message. It acts as a prompt to your subconscious that you're serious, that you're ready, that you're capable of stepping up, that you're capable of handling it.

[00:06:12] And if you're starting with vague goals or Attitude of let's see how it goes, I'm going to wing it like I always have, your subconscious will pick up on that too. Yes, it bloody will. Because it stays comfortable, it's going to cling on to old habits, it's going to cling on to old fears and limitations and keep you in the loop of just getting by.

[00:06:35] of just getting by, of having your tracksuit pants on, because we all want to wear tracksuit pants in January. I called it sweatpants, sweatpants season, and we, I did a podcast episode on it, I will tag that in the show notes if you currently feel like you're in sweatpants season, of just plodding along and just, You know, really knowing that you're actually playing not from your growth zone, you're paying from your, your comfort zone.

[00:07:01] So it's going to keep you in a loop of just getting by instead of truly growing. And what we're aiming for with Q1 is creating a new fricking standard, and it is definitely a Not about doing more, but it's doing about, it's, it's about doing the right things in a focused and intentional way. The whole of my year has been intentional.

[00:07:25] I have spoke about it time and time again, especially with maternity leave. Every clear goal, every consistent action, every time you show up with conviction, you are telling your subconscious that this is the level of commitment that is now your new normal. And when your subconscious believes it, that's when growth starts to feel effortless, that's when growth starts to feel aligned, that's when growth starts to be completely sustainable.

[00:07:53] So as we move into Q1, and I know we're a couple of weeks out, but this year has flown by already, I want you to ask yourself, what kind of foundation Am I laying for the year ahead? Because when you get that right, Q1 becomes the absolute groundwork, not just for your best quarter, but for your best year yet.

[00:08:17] And that's truly what I want when you're in my world. Now, the second thing that I want to talk about today is the difference between busy work, Yes, I'm calling you out. Versus aligned action. Now, to make you on your most profitable quarter, we really need to get crystal bloody clear on one thing. And probably one thing only, the difference between busy work and aligned action.

[00:08:45] Because I see so many female entrepreneurs get caught in the cycle of feeling productive because they're constantly doing things, they're updating their website, they're scrolling through social media for hours, they're tweaking their offers over and over, they're creating that Endless bloody to do list again and again and again, but here's the hard freaking truth.

[00:09:05] Unless these actions are directly tied to your bigger goals, they are just noise. There are things that can fill up your calendar, but they don't bloody fill up your bank account, do they? And here's what I mean by that. Busy work, which I see so, so often, is reactive. It's scattered. And a lot of the time when you're in busy work from a subconscious point of view, it is going to be driven by a sense of urgency to feel like and prove to your subconscious that you are doing something, in inverted commas, to make you feel good enough, to make you feel worthy.

[00:09:48] But aligned action, that's where the magic happens. Aligned action is strategic, it's intentional, it's tied directly to your end goals, and actually it's about doing less with more impact. This is why I work with so many entrepreneurs who have aligned action. Huge belief behind Making more money equals I've got to work harder because that's what you've taught your subconscious That's what your subconscious believes and it's not it's about working smarter.

[00:10:22] It's about working more intentional Not harder and in Q1 if you are serious about making this story Your most profitable quarter yet, you need to focus on aligning every single action with that end goal. An aligned action starts with knowing exactly what moves the needle. If you want to grow your revenue, then showing up in front of your ideal clients, creating valuable content, building relationships that lead to the sales, probably likely where you need to be focusing.

[00:10:55] Busy work. might make you feel accomplished. It might make you feel accomplished at the moment, but aligned action is really what gets you the sustained results. And that's a big, big, big win in my business. So I want you to think about it. What if, what if in Q1 you only focused on the actions that are really, really important.

[00:11:25] Directly tied to your growth goals. Every task, every hour you spend, every commitment would be geared towards building momentum and generating your income. Imagine the power of fricking starting Q1 with that sort of aligned focus. Because when you focus on aligned actions, profitability pretty much becomes inevitable because you're showing up in a way that is both intentional and impactful.

[00:11:56] And you probably will find yourself doing less whilst achieving more. A hundred percent. Because it is so aligned. And actually when we've got that alignment, we really start to help the subconscious and support the subconscious as well, which I'm going to be talking about in the episode two. The next thing I want to talk about is reverse engineering your goals.

[00:12:16] We're really wanting to create a roadmap and I talk about this all the time from a subconscious point of view and a lot of the work that I do inside one to one containers is reverse engineering people's goals. Because One of the big game changers for making any, like, not even Q1, but any bloody quarter profitable is reverse engineering your goals and a lot of entrepreneurs I see will set a goal, let's say, That's me.

[00:12:45] hitting 20k months, but then they stop there. The end. They don't create a roadmap that details how that could possibly happen, how, how they could hit that target, what sort of things they could be doing to get there. And they end up feeling overwhelmed. They end up feeling stuck. They end up playing into a belief that's like, told you so, told you it wouldn't work.

[00:13:09] Well, that's the part that's told you to not make a plan either.

[00:13:15] You need to go and think beyond just setting the goal because the actionable roadmap is going to bridge where you are now to where you want to be. So what I always say is instead of Setting these lofty targets and just hoping and praying on a whim that you're going to hit it and reach it. We want to break that goal down into achievable, what I call, micro steps.

[00:13:45] And almost act as a stepping stone. I do this with subconscious work as well, like we can't go from, I'm not good enough. A belief that you've believed for 20 years to I am good enough your subconscious is like I don't fucking believe that it's the same as you can't expect yourself to go from 5k to 20k without any sort of plan or showing up with the micro actions a lot of the time we think it's these Big, mammoth, micro actions that have such an impact on your business, have such an impact on your subconscious, it is the micro things that you do every single day that will be more important here.

[00:14:24] It really will. And actually, when you break it down into these micro, These micro actions, these daily actions, these daily understandings, you are actually showing your subconscious that it isn't just a big dream. In fact, okay, yes, maybe it is this huge dream on my vision board, but it's a reality with a clear path forwards.

[00:14:51] This process, honestly, does wonders for your subconscious. Wonders for it. And this is why in the Q1 Planning Masterclass, we are so, so focused on your subconscious supporting your aligned action and your strategy. Because when your subconscious starts to see that your goals aren't just possible, but they're achievable and they're safe, that's when you will take more micro action.

[00:15:25] Because the unknown The kind of gap, this huge gap that you create between where you are now to where you want to be, it's going to trigger resistance, because when your subconscious sees the roadmap, that's when it'll feel assured, and every time you're winging it, you're showing your subconscious that it is unsafe, because it doesn't know what's bloody coming next.

[00:15:49] And what we want to do is we wanna effectively say to the subconscious, look, this is how we're gonna do it. This is the step by step. And it might not work. We might have to shift, we might have to change, we might have to tweak and you know, go a different way than we think that we do. We don't need to know the exact how, but we do need that micro action daily 'cause it's going to create a sense of alignment.

[00:16:12] And it's really going to allow your subconscious to get on board without hesitation. The other thing that reverse engineering does incredibly is reduce overwhelm. Like, Without a roadmap, how often do your goals feel so huge that it's almost a bit paralyzing? Like, you stop. You're in stagnation. Because you're like, that's that, yeah, absolutely I want that goal, but fucking hell, that feels about 20 years away, or you know, whatever that is for you.

[00:16:45] Now, when you know exactly what actions to take, and that might be an action that is so micro, but will play into that macro huge goal. When you know what actions to take, the overwhelm dissolves. And actually, you hit the dopamine because you're like, oh yes, I've just ticked something off that's one step closer to me getting to that goal.

[00:17:08] And you can focus on the next step rather than focusing on the entire fucking mountain, which I know a lot of people do because you're a high achiever and you want to get to that mountain freaking yesterday, right? Impatience is one of the biggest parts that I work on with my clients, but your subconscious thrives on clarity, it survives on structure, and when we can reverse engineer, you're building a strong foundation for both.

[00:17:35] Now, this ties nicely into Making the expansion safe for your subconscious because Here's the truth. Like I say, your subconscious mind's top priority, it's not growth. It is not growth. It is protection. It's there to keep you safe, to stick with what's known, to pull you back from anything that feels risky, anything that feels unfamiliar.

[00:17:59] Exactly when I got you and I called you out last podcast and said, what has changed this year? And if nothing feels like it's really changed or progressed, it's because you are staying in familiar patterns. So if your goals for Q1 might feel a little bit, a little bit intimidating or uncertain, your subconscious is probably likely going to put on the brakes.

[00:18:24] That's where the sabotage sneaks in. That's where your subconscious mind believes that stepping into your goals is going to lead to failure, to disappointment, to judgment. And, Making Q1 profitable isn't just about setting bigger goals. It's actually about making your subconscious feel safe with those goals.

[00:18:47] Because the magic truly happens and this is the whole reason why I've decided to put on this Q1. Planning Masterclass. The magic happens when you can align your big dreams with your subconscious mind's need for security and certainty. I want to align your big dreams with your subconscious mind. The need for security, the need for certainty.

[00:19:14] So instead of framing your goals as this huge leap into the unknown, we want to think of them as aligned, natural steps in your business journey. Just another micro, aligned, natural step. And actually when you approach expansion in a way that feels secure, in a way that feels safe, you are building trust with your subconscious.

[00:19:38] You're literally saying to your subconscious, Look. We are going for growth, but it is growth that we can absolutely handle. And this reassurance comes from aligning your actions with your beliefs. So every step of the way, every step you take feels achievable, it feels realistic. Even if it's a stretch, because when your subconscious knows that you're capable of sustaining this next level, it will start to let go of the resistance.

[00:20:06] It will stop throwing up roadblocks. It's going to become your ally in your growth, and that's really, really what I want. You have to make your subconscious want that growth too, if you want your business to grow. I'll say that again. If you want your business to grow, you have to make your subconscious want and feel safe with that growth too.

[00:20:33] And when we frame your Q1 goals as achievable with the values that have driven behind it as they're aligned, aligned with your belief system, you are going to pave the way for growth that feels sustainable, empowering, secure. And that is so, so important. Now, the last thing that I want to speak about. is really maintaining high energy and commitment throughout Q1 and for the rest of the year.

[00:21:03] We all know, we all know January rolls around and everyone's motherfucking fired up. You're ready to take on the world, you're fully committed, this is gonna be the best year ever! But by February, enthusiasm's gone, distractions creeping in. And those goals, you're like, as exciting as they were in January.

[00:21:30] And what I need you to remember is success doesn't come from one big burst of motivation. It comes from consistent commitment and energy throughout the entire quarter. And the energy that you bring into Q1 is crucial because it carries you through the inevitable moments when things get hard. When results maybe take longer than expected, when self doubt kicks in, I have all of these things come in, but I have my subconscious and my aligned actions so well placed that it doesn't matter if self doubt comes in, because I know what I'm working on and I know how to move through it.

[00:22:15] And that is literally the reality of growth. Every level you're aiming for will test you. You know, I'm never going to quote unquote completely fix any of you ever. I'm sorry to say. You will be doing subconscious work for the rest of your life. I love that fact because actually every time I get to the next level, I'm like, oh, I'm uncovering something, something more juicy, another peel of the onion.

[00:22:45] And. Every level you're aiming for, it will test you and that is okay. But that's why I set things up like the membership. That's why I work with long term one to one clients, because it's about how you let the test go. It's about what you make the test mean. It's about what you do with the goddamn test that's going to have Such impact on your business and what separates a profitable high impactful quarter from a mediocre one is the commitment to keep showing up, to keep pushing forwards, even after the initial excitement, the initial, Oh my God, yes, we're doing this has worn off.

[00:23:31] It really is. And we want to pace yourself. We want to establish routines that's going to fuel you rather than drain you. We want to build in moments of rest, reward, reflection. It's, it's not just about preventing burnout, it's about building resilience. And that's why we want to create a space where we can sustain your energy.

[00:23:54] Where you can consistently show up for your goals, when you're creating a rhythm that your subconscious can trust and follow, rather than this big surge of energy, fall flat on your face for a month. Big surge of energy, fall flat off social media for a month. I see it time and time again. You have these pockets, and then you can't sustain it because you're not setting yourself up subconsciously.

[00:24:20] Gosh, I'm excited. So, we really want to look at Q1 as the start. Yes, the start of the year, but the start of you making changes that are going to last. That are really going to last, because I want you to not only create a profitable, profitable quarter and set yourself up for that, but you're literally setting a standard for how you will show up all goddamn year long.

[00:24:58] And that is so important. Like I said, a lot of the work that, a lot of the, The fruits of my labor that have happened over the past couple of months have been things that I set up in January. Everything was intentional. Every launch was intentional. Every action was intentional. Every podcast was intentional.

[00:25:20] You know how I work in my business right now, because I speak about it a lot. And. I used to be last minute Haydon. I used to wing the shit out of everything, but actually it was never going to scale me to what I have now and to what I'm scaling to for the, for, for next year or the year after that or the year after that.

[00:25:40] It really needs to come from this place of aligned action and your subconscious to be completely behind it. Because when you have those two in tandem, that is really where the magic happens. And when we don't. One will fall off or one will sabotage or you'll stop doing the strategy or you'll go back into shiny object bloody syndrome that we see so many people go into and I really, really want you to set yourself up for success this coming year 2025 because I want you to know it can be different.

[00:26:17] It absolutely can be different.
