I hope you're well. I hope you're having a good day. The podcast has really been getting some incredible feedback of recent.
[00:00:59] It's making me very, very happy. The reason why it makes me so happy because it is still to this day, and I've been doing this podcast since March of 2020. How far away does that feel now? Um, it's still resonating. It is still out there, and it's still one. Favorite things to do from social media perspective.
[00:01:20] It actually started as my passion project, which I think is hilarious. It was something that I just really wanted to do. I never really wanted it to go anywhere, but nowadays it's having such a massive, profound impact on those who are listening, which makes me very happy. I've had a lot of feedback that's say in, it's basically like being in a coaching session with me, which is amazing because that's exactly how I want it to feel, and today is going to be no different.
[00:01:46] Today actually has spurred from the last couple of podcasts that I've done because we have really been diving into your money story, your beliefs around money, bringing in more wealth, attracting more ideal clients, and actually we're gonna have a look at today, how to step into raising your prices and the mindset shifts that you have to go through in order for that to.
[00:02:12] Now I wanna preface, there is strategical things to have a look at when you are raising your prices. This is something that I do within my one-to-one. You know that I work with both the mindset and the strategy when it comes to these things. But today we're having a look at the three mindset shifts that you need to raise your prices in 2020.
[00:02:35] So I have a lot of people, I have a lot of, um, you know, people in the community that say they find it really hard to raise their prices because of how it feels to ask whether it's for more money, whether it's the energetic exchange feels more pressured because they're putting the money up. Maybe it feels out of alignment because you don't want to put your money.
[00:02:57] All of these things come up when it comes to raising prices. However, when we are looking at the scalability of your business, when we're looking at you reaching the next level, we either have to have more time, you know, give more time, or be able to scope, um, more time for more people, one to many, or we put the prices up so it's more of a, um, price increase for the same amount of time that you're.
[00:03:23] Now, this adds that uncertainty, this adds that belief. This adds that pressure. There's so many things that comes with raising your prices, and we're gonna go into three sections of this today. Just like I said, three mindset shifts. We're gonna have a look at the energy of who, because when you are rising raising your prices, it might mean that we have to have a look at a different type of ideal client.
[00:03:52] So we're gonna have a look at the energy of who today we're gonna have a look at the energy of the number. Now I said this in last week's podcast. You know, what are you making the numbers mean? What does that look like for you? We're gonna have a look at the energy of the number that you're going to.
[00:04:07] And then lastly, we're gonna have a look at the energy of you because the you that's selling your. You know, whether it you're selling your coaching package, whether you're selling your services, whether you're selling your time, whether you're selling your recipes, whatever you're selling out there, you stepping into a different scope, a different set of prices is going to require a different.
[00:04:37] Mindset of you. Not a different you, a different mindset of you, a different identity of you. You know how much I love the identity work. So let's start with the energy of who. If you are sitting there right now and you're like, you know what, it's, it's, it's time. It's time guys. It's time to either step into that next level of pricing.
[00:04:59] It's time to. Charge. What I really think is really, really scary. It's time to add maybe 10 pounds onto my um, packages. Whatever that feels like for you. We need to make sure that we are calling in the person who is available to invest in that, and this is where the energy of who is really going to come to life.
[00:05:26] So the mindset shifted the energy of who is actually. You are calling in, but it's who you need to be in order to call those in. So who is the client that you are calling in for that, that new price? How do they behave? How did they show up? What have they gone through that's allowed them to see the value in that price?
[00:05:57] What do they look like? , what does that feel like for. And I really want you to get very, very comfortable and safe. You know, we always wanna create safety with the subconscious mind and doing anything that feels scary. I want you to really have a look at who that is, because we can start calling them in from both an energetic point of view, from a strategic point of view, and from you holding the space for that particular person.
[00:06:26] now. This was happening to me quite a lot. I would probably say the latter end of 2021. Because I was, um, really speaking to my level one client. When I work with clients and within my business, I use a strategy where I have a level one, a level two, and a level three client. They all are in different sectors of the business, different things that I'm launching, and I was really focusing on my level one.
[00:06:55] Now my level one client is just starting out in their business. They are at the, at the time I was launching Visibility Queen, so actually when I was shifting from a level one to level three, , the energy around that client is very, very different. And their needs and their wants are also very different.
[00:07:13] Completely. Okay for both level one and level three. Just just fyi, however, I had to really understand who that level three client was for me. Who was she? How does she show up? How does she see herself? Where is she moving towards? So really getting clear on the energy of who you are bringing in. I really want you to start there.
[00:07:40] I want you to visualize you asking for that price or saying the price to that ideal client that you're bringing in, and really. , how she stands in that, or how he stands in that. , how do they receive that price? How do they come back to that price? Is it not even blinking an eye? You know, I get so many clients that were like, I was so scared to say the price and I said it, and they didn't even flinch or say anything.
[00:08:11] They were like, yep, okay, no props, , and in they go. So I really want you, first of all, to get into the energy of who you are calling in, because it might look a little bit different to the people that you're calling in with the prices that you have. This is if you wanna make a huge leap with your prices.
[00:08:28] Number two, the energy of the number. Now a very, very small trick that I do with my clients that I've definitely spoke about on the podcast before is when you want to raise your prices. I actually want you to almost go big, go small, and then meet yourself in the middle. Now, what do I mean by this? If I asked you what was the most scariest mother effing crazy prize that you would charge for your services, what would that be?
[00:08:58] What number would that be? You know, where does that sit? Then if I asked you what is. smallest amount. What is that kind of the, the least amount of money that you would take for someone to work with You? Go to that number and then we're gonna meet in the middle. because we want the, we want the price to feel scary.
[00:09:20] We want the, we want it to feel scary. We want it to feel like, oh, this feels like a bit of a push. But we don't want it to feel so scary that you physically can't get it out, whether it's on a call or whether you're saying it face to face or whether you're putting it on your um, website. We want it to feel.
[00:09:36] Scary, excited. That's where I want you to be. So go to the biggest number, go to the smallest number, and then meet yourself in the middle. Usually that's where I find the sweet spot with clients because they're like, oh, that feels like it's not crazy out there, which we can definitely work towards and we definitely will work, work towards, and it's not this tiny number that feels like, you know, I might as well be doing this for free.
[00:09:59] It's that juicy in the. . I'm really kind of getting used to that. Now. What I want you to do, once you've decided the energy of the number, I want you to start getting really used to that number because when you are raising your prices and say you are going from, um, a thousand pounds to 2,500, that's gonna feel.
[00:10:22] Maybe quite a leap. So I really want you to get used to the 2,500, just the number in itself. Hey, I'm Becky and I charge 2,500. Really get used to it. Not only saying it, not only bringing it into your muscle memory, but also the energy behind it. So I want you to give it a quick check. Now we've got that number.
[00:10:47] If you need to pause the podcast, please do and go and do your big small meet in the middle. Have a little play around with what that looks like and add on another a hundred pounds if you want to. If it feels like you want to go there. Now we've got it. Now I want you to go, okay, what is the energy behind this number?
[00:11:07] What does that feel to me? I want you to close your eyes and I want you to feel into the energy. Does it feel really fucking exciting? Does it feel a little bit scary? But oh my God, could you imagine if I stepped into that, really get used to how that feels Now, if there's any, um, resistance or if there's any kind of, um, juiciness in the wrong way.
[00:11:36] Coming up with the number, just ask yourself why. Okay, cool. 2,500 feels really horrible. Why is that? What energy have I put behind that? What story have I put behind that price? Is it a belief that no one's gonna buy? is it? Is it that belief? Okay. Let me get curious on that belief. Where does that come from?
[00:11:59] Do I have evidence of other people buying at 2,500? Yeah, I do. So that belief actually is null and void. In fact, it's a story that I've made up from somewhere else, from someone else. From someone else who said it, oh, you can't make that amount of money. You're gonna charge 2,500 for your package, Christ.
[00:12:19] You know, where is that coming from? Where is the belief and what is the story behind it? So really going back to. last week's podcast. I'm going dipping in and out all of the podcasts. But really going back to that, what is the money story behind that amount of money? Really get used to it. I want you to walk around for the rest of the day going, Hey, insert name, and I charge, insert new price.
[00:12:43] Really get used to saying it. Get into the energy, make it feel exciting. If you can feel it in your body, where is it in your body? What color is it? What shape is it? What texture is it? Get really used to feeling into that price, the energy of the number. And then lastly, the energy of you. Now, this one is the biggest.
[00:13:06] That's why I saved it to last, because the energy of. is going to hold you not only in you saying the price, not only in you holding the space for the person that you're saying the price to, but also for you to feel confident in where you are moving to. So what energy do you need to feel into in order to attract the person who pays 2,500?
[00:13:34] I know I, I landed on the 2,500 example and we've stayed there. So we will stay there for the rest of the podcast, but could be whatever. What energy do I need to feel into in order to attract the person that pays 12,000 pounds for my services? What is that energy? Who is she
[00:13:57] really get to know? now when you've got that number, when you've got the energy of who it is, when you've got the number and you feel good in that number, now we need to start visualizing that actually happening. because remember, the subconscious mind does not know the difference between what is real and what is not.
[00:14:16] So if we can mentally rehearse, if we can mentally rehearse this price, if we can mentally rehearse that happening, if we can do it over and over and over and over and over again, in your mind, your subconscious is like, Good God, Beck. We've done this quite a few times. So the next time you go to say that brand new price that you actually haven't said to anyone on a conscious level, your subconscious is like, well, we've done this loads of times, guys.
[00:14:43] We're okay. This is safe. So I want you to actually then go into that visualization period, the mental rehearsal. This is what I do with my clients when we're moving into the new identity, when we're moving into the next level, when we're moving into the next stage of your business, we go into the mental.
[00:15:00] Rehearsal, feel as if, feel as if those are already your prices. Act as if those are already your prices. Be as if those are already your prices. Really get into the visualization. Now, there's a couple of things that I want you to visualize. The first thing, when you visualize yourself, I want you to visualize yourself asking for the price.
[00:15:26] Or speaking about the price with your ideal client, whether that's you sitting on the sofa and your dms telling the ideal client the price or whether it's on a call, whatever that looks like for you, whether it's on a phone call, a Zoom call, you're chatting in a coffee shop, wherever you are, visualize yourself asking or telling your ideal client the price, and I want you to just see what energy.
[00:15:51] Am I coming from right now? What thoughts are coming up? What beliefs am I believing?
[00:16:00] What energy feels amazing and aligned? What thoughts feel energy and aligned with that? What beliefs do I have so that me, that me, that's already in that price, in my timeline In the future, what thoughts does she having? What beliefs does she have behind that? Who is the you, who is already in that price?
[00:16:27] How do you show up differently online? When you believe that people are ready to buy, are ready to invest at your new prices, how does it feel in your body? If you believed and trusted that people are ready to buy at those new prices, how does that feel? Remember feelings, tinging are the most important.
[00:16:54] Really get to know. and keep visualizing. Keep visualizing into that space because then we open the razz, you know the drill. We open the reticular activated system to see the world from you standing in that price. The energy of you is the most important. . Have you ever been on a call with someone or you've done this yourself, where it gets to the price and there's so much, there's so much nervous energy around the price, or there's so much kind of like behind the price?
[00:17:31] Have you ever been on a call like that? When they're like, so, yeah, so it's for six months, they're like, they can't even say it out loud. I want you to really stand in that confidence because you've done the visual. . So when a, when visualizing asking for the price with your ideal client, what energy feels amazing, expansive, aligned, excited, where does that sit in your body?
[00:17:57] How does that feel? What shape, what texture, what color, what thoughts come up? What beliefs am I having? Where is that energy coming from, and how differently do I show up being in that state? because it is how you show up. It's the energy that you bring. You know how much I am so fond of energy and how that is online and how you emanate that and how you embody that online.
[00:18:22] really stepping into that with those new prices. So let's recap. You're gonna go through the energy of who, who is the client that you are calling in at that new price, and what do they look like? You know, what evidence do you have that supports that new price? How can you remind yourself every day in order to step into those new PR new prices?
[00:19:05] What does that number now feel like? What were the stories that I had behind that number and what are the stories now? What's the energy behind that number? Say it and say it and say it again. Mental rehearsal. The best thing you can do, and then the energy of you. That visualization. Practice. Practice.
[00:19:26] Practice. Again. Keep playing it out. Mentally rehearse, mentally rehearse, mentally rehearse. How does it feel in my body if I believed and trusted that people are ready to. at the new price. Oh, I got the chills. So go and have a little look at this. Take some time. Block it out on your diary if you need to.
[00:19:51] If raising your prices is really. Speaking to you right now, and there's been some disconnect or there's been resistance behind doing that, or you've tried it and then you keep slipping back to the old prices, or you've tried it and you keep believing that no one's gonna buy these three steps are going to be the best way for you to step into this.
