Welcome back to Higher Self, and I, I hope you're having a lovely day. We are diving in today on how I broke the scarcity mindset and stepped into the multi six figure identity.
[00:01:06] Oh yes. This was a. Well of requested podcast, a well requested, um, story training. If you have missed the story training, that's okay because it is coming out on the podcast today. So ears up. We're about to dive in now. I know that you are an aspiring multi six figure, multi seven figure, multi eight figure wherever you are.
[00:01:34] Aspiring to that, and it's time to truly step into your abundant mindset and actually allow yourself to become the woman who is living out her vision with those sold out high ticket, incredible sales, a life and a business that you're truly obsessed with. [00:02:02] And wealth. Hitting those five figure months with ease and living a life full of experiences with travel and running a business that actually feels sustainable and safe. It's something that we have been talking about on the podcast for the last couple of weeks, but right now I. The scarcity mindset creeps in and it creeps in so much and so subconsciously that it stops you from seeing and being and feeling this incredible life that you are on the way to create and.
[00:02:38] You are ready to become that unstoppable CEO that does the work that sells your high-ticket offers, that's in control and achieving and sustaining your next level income, the next level of business, whatever that looks like for you. But that pesky scarcity mindset keeps just bleeding in day-to-day weak.
[00:02:58] To week, month to month, and before you know it, we're in the end of February and none of the goals have come to fruition. Or you promised yourself so many things at the start of the year or didn't promise yourself so many things at the start of the year because you, you know that this would happen. So I really wanted to talk into the scarcity mindset.
[00:03:20] I wanted to have a little dive into it. Have a little dive into the growth abundant mindset that. I really just want to guide you to step into because it really truly is where the magic happens. It's where we collapse time, it's where we quantum leap. It's where we really truly bring in that new reality that you want to bring in.
[00:03:43] And actually, if we stay in that scarcity mindset, if we stay in the mindset of this is my reality now, it's never going to be any different then. We're never gonna be any different, you know, , you know what I always say? Like what you focus on is what you get and actually the power of your thoughts. The power of the stories that you are telling yourself, the power of you changing the narrative within your subconscious mind is where your life really truly begins to start to change.
[00:04:18] And this isn't a quick click thing, like we don't flip a switch and all of a sudden, You're in this abundant mindset, and just as an fyi across the whole of this podcast, I still have to practice these things. I still have to practice every single thing that I'm going to tell you in this podcast. I still have to practice and become really conscious at these things because we are hardwired.
[00:04:44] To run. We are hardwired for fight or flight. We are hardwired to come out of the cave, and if there was a tiger on one side and a rainbow on the other, we would fucking run after run, not after the tiger. We would run from the tiger. We wouldn't go chase the rainbow, right? We are hard wired to look out for things that are going to create unsafety in our.
[00:05:13] It's just how we've evolved as humans. We are hardwired to hunt, to, to be in that, oh my God, like someone's gonna attack us. I have to protect myself. We, we are hardwired in that space. So it is going to be work for you to step into the abundant slash growth mindset. It is not going to be an easy ride and I don't wanna sugarcoat it.
[00:05:37] And I don't wanna say like, Hey guys, like, I just started thinking positively and everything came to me cuz it fucking didn't. You know, this is through work, after work, after work on my mindset, on my beliefs, on my stories, and still to this day, continuously calling myself. Where that is now, what I say to my clients is actually the more that we work on this, the better that we get, the more we bounce back quicker.
[00:06:02] So like I could go into scarcity mindset, but within the first five seconds of me knowing that I've gone into it, I have the ability to pull myself out or an hour or a. Sometimes it's longer. Sometimes I allow myself to feel the feelings. Sometimes I allow that little victim part of me little beck to come out and have her moment because sometimes we have to go there and that's okay.
[00:06:28] But how can we shift through it? That's exactly what we're going to go through today. So the scarcity mindset I know is it's a very big buzzword in the entrepreneur space, in the, the self-development space, to be honest. And we have these. Two, um, two different scopes of things. We have the scarcity mindset and we have the abundance mindset, or the growth mindset, and the scarcity mindset is.
[00:06:58] can show up in a lot of different places. Um, a lot of the time it's kind of thinking you'll always lose and the other wins, you know, why me? Um, viewing others as competitors, maybe being over controlling, pessimistic, feeling like you're always behind impatient. Overscheduling yourself. There's lots of places that scarcity mindset can, can show up, and it's when you believe that there's limited.
[00:07:26] Resources. So you feel there is less of the resource available for you. You go and compare yourself to everyone. This is what happens online. You know, you go and have a look online, you go and have a look on your Instagram and pick out all the things that everyone else has got and you don't. And honestly, the amount of time that I spent in scarcity was.
[00:07:54] Phenomenal . It really was. I was, I was hook line and sinkered into scarcity for a very, very, very long time. And it was only through the work that I did with the embodiment and the energy and the mindset that I really started to see the shift out of scarcity, into abundance, into growth. And the abundance mindset is where the, the magic truly does happen.
[00:08:19] And I know it sounds so freaking cliche, and I know it's. You know, something that a lot of us say, but honestly I've seen firsthand how powerful it is when you play and live and be and feel in that abundance mindset. And that doesn't have to, you know, strictly come down to money. Like, I know when we hear abundance, we hear, you know, a lot of our brains go to money and being like abundant with money, but it's abundant across the board, abundant in your life, abundant with time, with, with, with money.
[00:08:49] But with happiness, with joy, with, with all of the other things that make us feel abundant too. And actually when we get into that mindset, like I said, you know, sometimes we fall back in those neural pathways are hard fucking wired . But if we can create space and create, um, Tools and create things that we know really help us pull ourself into the abundance mindset.
[00:09:15] You will really start to see things change, because I'll say it again. What you focus on is what you get, so. , how did I break through my scarcity mindset and step into that multi six figure identity? You know, go on to do the things that I do now in the business sign the clients that I sign, make the money that I make, go traveling, you know, I'm after Dubai in March.
[00:09:41] And all of those juicier, incredible things. The, these have all come down to the way I operate and the way I think in my business. But in my. Not just in the business. The business is separate to me as an identity , and it stuck a long time to get there. But I also make sure that the abundance that I feel for my business, I also feel in my life too, because that was something that I really was falling into as well.
[00:10:10] So number one, I want you to know yourself and know your thoughts. Now listen to me on this, the higher version of. , which is I'm classing as yourself. Is that strong, confident, powerful, knows what to do, knows who she is, knows exactly what she wants, and she is in there. But the thoughts, eg. Negative thoughts are the parts of you that keep clouding.
[00:10:49] that voice. So they will come in and they will tell you the beliefs. They will tell you that you are not good enough. They will tell you that this is never gonna happen. They will tell you that your dream will never come true. They will tell you that everyone else is doing great and I'm not. They will tell you all of these stories to keep you safe because actually that higher version of you that that highest self.
[00:11:16] Feels unsafe to your subconscious. It's very, very new. It's very, very powerful. You know, I had to do a lot of work around this because, . I remember a time where I used to say to my coach, I was like, I, I almost feel too powerful for my own good when I'm in the highest version of myself. And I had this crazy ass pattern where if one thing was going really, really good in my life, I would have to sabotage something else.
[00:11:42] So if my business is really going really good, I would sabotage my relationship. If my relationship was going really good, I would sabotage my health. If my health was, it would go around in circles and. Does to an extent. At the moment, I'm still doing work on it. However, when you tap into that higher version of you, and this comes through, knowing who she is and really allowing her space and time and a voice and really getting used to yous.
[00:12:11] Separating and disassociating from the parts of you that are keeping you safe and actually allowing her to come through. Now, what I see with this, I'm, I'm a very visual person and this is how I always see it. So your parts are almost standing in front of you. When you give them enough of a voice, they, they are steering the ship.
[00:12:31] So the victim part or the, I'm not good enough part or the worried part or the stress part. All of these parts of you, these little parts, which I see as like little noms, , I dunno why , I see them as little noms in front of me. They are steering the ship and the higher version of you, which is you, is standing at the back, but you are letting these parts lead.
[00:12:55] Now if you. Able to create a separation in the line and get them to stand aside. I almost see it's like when clouds part and the sun shines through. That is the higher version of you, and it really comes straight from my chest. Come straight from my chest and it beams forward. And I truly know when she's here and when she's speaking because it is a very, very different energy.
[00:13:25] So you need to understand your parts, and that's work that I could do with you in one-to-one sessions. That's. Three months, six month within my one-to-one container, really understanding the parts of you that are holding you back, that are keeping you safe, that are trying to protect you from all of these big things that you're trying to achieve in your life.
[00:13:45] When you know those and when you understand why they're showing up and when you understand why they're trying to protect you, it allows you to create different roles for them, put put them behind you to be honest. So you are actually steering the ship and that higher version of you can shine forwards.
[00:14:03] They are completely. Separate. And the more you learn the difference between these, the better because the higher version of you yourself is the abundant mindset. It is the growth mindset and your negative thoughts, the parts that are keeping you safe. And we are not shitting on them here. We love them.
[00:14:23] Dearly. They've kept us very, very safe our whole life. They're doing their goddamn job. But these are the scarcity parts because they're holding onto beliefs of what kept you safe when that emotion happened for you, when that, when that. Event happened for you. So first of all, know yourself, know your thoughts.
[00:14:45] All you need to do just to start is just become very aware as you're going through your day and a thought pops up, just be like, Ooh, okay. Was that a part or was that my higher self? Just start to get to know the difference of. hugely. Life changing for me. Hugely life changing. Because what you find happens is you start to create the separation, like I said, but then you can start making decisions.
[00:15:14] You can start making choices. You start behaving from the highest version of you because you know what she is, you know what she, how she operates, you know? And I see that shine coming through from my chest. I can feel. She's here right now, baby. So really get to know yourself and know your thoughts and separate the parts to your highest version.
[00:15:38] Number two, to really shift out of the scarcity mindset is focus on the feelings. I know I literally say this time and time again, but if you are feeling the feelings of your future, you are no longer seeking it. If you are feeling the emotions. You are no longer looking for it. And that's what happens with scarcity is because we attach onto the external and we go, oh, no, no, no.
[00:16:08] When I have that, that's when I'll feel better. When I have, you know, if I was to pay off all of the things, if I was to win the lottery, if, if I was. Just to have 10 K, then I will feel better. No, we know that that doesn't happen. I'm sure you will have experienced it, and I cannot say it enough. It doesn't change anything.
[00:16:27] It can change it for maybe two, three minutes, maybe an hour max, and then we're back to focusing on something else. So we wanna focus. Feelings and mentally rehearse the feelings of your future, and you can really start to watch your vibrations rise because the feelings in your body allow you to open your eyes open.
[00:16:48] Your RA system vibrate on a completely different level. , when we're in that scarcity mindset, what sort of feelings are in that for you? So for me it is stress, it's worry. It's focusing on all the things that I don't have. It's focusing on all the shit that I need to sort out. It's very heavy in my body. I feel almost like my shoulders come over.
[00:17:09] It almost feels like a weight has dropped from kind of the lower part of my spine into the floor. It all feels really clunky. And kind of over me. So I'm not open, I'm not open at all to anything coming in. And in fact, the more closed I am, the more closed that the things. Coming into me are because I don't have the opportunities and I don't open my eyes to what's actually around me.
[00:17:36] So when you can focus on the feelings and mentally rehearse the feelings of your future, and when I say mentally rehearse, it's literally as simple as closing your eyes, literally closing your eyes, and going, okay, what are the feelings that I believe my future is going to give me? , okay. It's happiness, right?
[00:17:57] Where does happiness live in my body? How can I feel that? What does it look like? What color, what shape, what texture? Turn it up. Turn it up. Turn it up. Keep mentally rehearsing those feelings of your future. It's like you really tuning into what radio station you're vibrating from because when you are in that incredible radio station vibration, whatever number you want to, A 2, 2 2 or a 3, 3 3 or a 7, 7, 7, whatever you wish.
[00:18:25] When you are in that, that radio station vibrating from that, like things like things are attracted to you in so many different ways and it's happened so many freaking times and I know it's quite. Intangible untangible for you to grasp onto to that. But the more you practice that, the more you will actually experience it, and that's when you create the evidence within your subconscious mind.
[00:18:51] So right now, have a check-in. I know that I've done this before, but if you were vibrating on a radio station, what would it be? Would it be in scarcity or would it be in abundance? Where are you on that radio station dial. , you know, the really old dials where you could move it along. Where are you on that?
[00:19:07] So really start to mentally rehearse the feelings. You cannot help but shift your body and shift your mind, your, your physiology except affects your psychology and vice versa. So you cannot help but shift the vibration and shift the momentum, shift the emotion, you know, emotion. Energy in motion. So how can you really start to shift that by focusing on the feelings that you want to create?
[00:19:38] If you are feeling the feelings of the future, you are no longer seeking it. And that's truly one of the biggest things that happen for me, especially when it comes to embodiment. And that is part of a massive, massive part of embodiment is focusing on the feelings of your future because you really start to step into that.
[00:19:57] As if it's already yours, because it is, you can have the feelings within you. So that is number two. Number three that really, really helped me is find your vibe. This really goes with what I've just spoke about for number two, those feelings and playing at a different radio station, but, There's so many incredible somatic practices that you can do that help shift your vibration.
[00:20:21] Now this can look very different to every single person. It could be journaling. It could be scripting, it could be listening to one of my motivational, um, messages that I used to have on the podcast. I'll link a couple, um, in the podcast below if you haven't. Scrolled that far down in the podcast. I used to do these, uh, five, 10 minute motivational messages, which I still have people message me to this day saying that they listen to them every day, which I freaking love.
[00:20:46] Um, for me it's breath work. Um, I'm part of a. Breathwork community, which is called the the Breath Channel. Um, it's Stevie Wright. She's incredible. [00:21:11] They really, truly shift my energy and I do it as many times as I can , whether that's per day or per week, because the way that it shifts me, it shifts my body, it shifts my mind. It shifts my. Energy. The way I then show up for my business and for myself and for my life is a hell of a lot different. If I don't do it, I feel my energy rise.
[00:21:39] I feel my vibration shift. I feel fricking unstoppable. So what is your vibrational exercise? Is it dancing around to music? Is it going for a walk? Is it going to the. It could be a collection of all of them. You know, I tend to have quite a big morning routine where the, you know, it will always include, The gym will walk in Barney, or, um, breath work or just literally as simple as writing my gratitude journal sometimes with some really, really incredible music behind me as I'm writing.
[00:22:13] It can have such incredible shifts for my vibration. And that really starts to truly move you out of scarcity and into abundance. And I will check on my, I'll check on my feelings and I'll check on my thoughts through the day. And if I do feel the dip or I do feel. Scarcity start to come in, or one of the parts start to kick off.
[00:22:33] I will have the conversation with them. I will see what they're trying to protect me from, and then I'll go and do an exercise to move myself through it. You can really start to find your vibe with that too. So, These are the three things that I've done to shift out of scarcity. There's obviously collections of lots of other things too.
[00:22:50] Um, but these were my three main ones when I was thinking about doing this podcast. So know yourself, know your thoughts, focus on the feelings and find your vibe.
